Greenwash Waterless Car wash FAQ

The money back guarantee is a very generous offer, is it legitamate?
I'm fed up with all the stories that I hear with companies making it so difficult for customers to claim their money back because of all the strict refund criterias that are forced onto customers. I myself have experienced such bad experiences with another company and I want to make sure with our money back offer, you clearly know everything up-front where there are no sneaky fine prints and no over-the-top conditions. Simply, if our waterless exterior car wash & polish service is not the best quality car wash you've ever had, contact us within 24 hours of our wash and we will re-wash your entire car again FREE of charge. If you are still not satisfied, we will refund your money. As simple as that.

And Yes, our waterless car wash has got to be the best for us to have the confidence to make such a generous offer. We run an honest business where we continually try very hard to build a high level of trust with you. We believe you are honest as well, and this offer provides a no risk service that guarantees you the best results.

How can you clean my dirty car without any water?
The waterless product we use contains 47 ingredients, including wetting agents, lubricants and sealing agents. The lubricants and wetting agents combine to soften and emulsify surface grime, while a specific blend of polymeroxane fluids and hydrophenolic lubricants attach a microscopic layer of exclusive PolyGuard-3® to the surface. PolyGuard-3® is an extremely rare (and expensive) substance which provides a bonded layer of protection against any remaining abrasive not broken down by the detergents and wetting agents.

I’m concerned that your waterless wash will scratch my car?
Let us put your mind at ease. Our waterles car washes will not scratch your car. We pride ourselves in taking absolute care when cleaning your car, regardless of the colour being green, yellow, black, orange or white. All our staff members are well trained and highly knowledgeable when it comes to performing waterless car washes and will treat your car with the attention and care it deserves.

When we spray the dirty surface of your car with the unique cleaning product, each "spray" either covers or surrounds any dirt particles with thousands of individual droplets - each less than .015" in diameter. The droplets that cover begin to soften, emulsify and lift the dirt particles immediately, due to the generous supply of cleaning agents contained in the formula. The droplets that surround prevent the dirt particles from coming in contact with the surface because a combination of special lubricants keeps them in a state of suspension until they are absorbed by the application cloth.

Using the conventional water and wash method of cleaning. When you spray your car with water, you remove the majority of visible dirt and grime, but leave behind a thin layer of dirt on the surface. When you rub a chamois or sponge over your car’s paint, you can grind the remaining dirt into the paint. This can create what is called “feather scratches”.

Can my vehicle by too dirty for your waterless wash?
When your vehicle becomes too dirty with either extremely thick mud, clay, granules, heavy salt spray, heavy bugs, heavy tar, or tree sap, we will need to remove the heavy dirt from your vehicle first before performing our waterless wash. Our staff are well trained to analyze the condition of your car first, before washing.

I’ve just had fresh paint sealants applied over my car, can I still get a Greenplace waterless wash on my car?
We suggest you wait for 90days. If we perform a waterless wash on your car over the FRESH paint sealant, it is possible that the washing ingredients may be somewhat difficult to remove and cause minor streaking, usually noticeable only on darker colors.

I’ve just had my car freshly repainted, can I still get a Greenwash waterless wash on my car?
Both the paint industry and the automobile industry generally endorse a 90-day waiting period for newly painted vehicles, during which time thinning solvents evaporate from the paint, allowing it to cure. Greenplace also endorses this industry standard.

Can you do a waterless wash when the car is wet?
A big NO! Even a few drops of water can effect the results, i.e. the polish will be difficult to remove and will probably leave streaks. For the same reason water runs off your car’s surface after our waterless wash, the product used by us will not bond to a water-laden surface.

Does the waterless wash product we use contain silicones?
No.

Do I have to park my car in a shaded area before you come to wash?
Although the Greenwash waterless car wash can be performed in the sun or on hot surfaces, we do require that all our customers park their car in a shaded area or in a garage before we arrive. This will produce the best results.

Can I have my car cleaned when I have my car parked at work?
As long as your car falls within the coverage location, we will come to clean your car. Please contact us by phone if your parked location does not fall within our coverage. Please note that for our staff’s safety, we may refuse to come and clean your car if we believe the location is not safe or pose danger to our staff members.
